Stroller Strides®

Our signature program offering "Fitness for Mom, Fun for Baby™"!

Stroller Strides® is a total fitness program that moms can do WITH their babies. It includes power walking/jogging and intervals of strength and body toning exercise using exercise tubing, your stroller, and the environment. Taught by certified fitness instructors with specialty training in the pre and post natal woman, it is a great workout for ANY level of exerciser. All of our instructors abide by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ recommendations for exercises. Stroller Strides instructors weave songs and activities into the routine designed to engage and entertain baby, while moms are led through a series of exercises specific to her role as Mom. Classes are offered at Colorado Lagoon, El Dorado Park, Marine Vista Park, Mother's Beach, Heartwell Park and Los Cerritos Park. Your first class is free!

Fit4Baby is a class designed just for pregnant moms! Exercises are modified for each stage of pregnancy and each individual's needs. Trainers certified in pre- and post-natal fitness lead these twice weekly classes.

Get moving again! Walk, run, and tone your body with fun exercises. No babysitter needed- both you and your young children will enjoy these fun, hour long classes, conveniently offered six days a week. All classes are taught by Stroller Strides Certified instructors.

All classes are taught by Stroller Strides/Stroller Barre Certified instructors. In Stroller Strides/Stroller Barre Fusion, some classes will incorporate more Stroller Strides exercises and some will incorporate more Stroller Barre. Either way you'll be getting the BEST of both class formats!

Registration is now open for the 2018 Kids' 1K Fun Run!

Registration includes goody bag, racing bib, medal and fun fair before and after the event. Once you have registered please check for an email with information from Shannon.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Precious Lamb Preschool located in Long Beach.

Body Back® is a results-based workout designed for moms who want their body back, whether they just had a baby or their last child was born twenty years ago! Most importantly, it will help women unlock their personal possibilities in an inspiring and powerful environment. Body Back® clients experience targeted high-intensity workouts, inspiration and motivation in every class.

Baby-sitting is available for the first four registrants who sign up 10 hours before the scheduled class time.
A signed waiver for your child must be on file.
Baby-sitting must be paid for prior to enrollment.
If you do not make the cut-off for the first four slots of baby-sitting, you will be placed on the wait-list. Being on the wait-list does not ensure you have a registration for childcare. If you arrive for childcare and you are not on the class register, you are not guaranteed a spot.

Your child's safety is our first priority and ensuring we have a proper adult to child ratio is our top concern.

Please note: on Fridays Body Back enhanced will only be held if four clients are RSVPd to attend by 9:00 p.m. the evening prior. If four clients are not enrolled, class will be cancelled.

Stroller Barre®

Stroller Barre® is a unique blend of ballet, Pilates, barre, yoga and stroller-based exercises designed to help moms build strength and muscle tone and improve posture. Created by a mom who was formerly a professional ballerina, this class incorporates prenatal and postnatal training and yields amazing results in an exciting, fun format. Postpartum women tend to have tight and weak pectoral (chest), abdominal and quadriceps muscles. In addition, the back and hamstrings muscles become stretched and weak. This occurs due to hunched posture from breast or bottle feeding, excessive spinal curves while carrying baby in utero and after birth, and repeatedly picking their new (and rapidly growing) baby up. Stroller Barre® focuses on strengthening and creating an ideal length/tension relationship in all the postural muscles, creating a taller, leaner-looking mommy!
